Day After Thanksgiving

The start of Christmas baking has begun. Today bread, sausage kolaches, and cinnamon rolls. Just a few cinnamon rolls will make more at a later date.

Now to start sewing in the morning and baking in the evening. This way I can get all of it ready in time. I make cookies, pies, cakes, and candy. Instead of pies and cakes I will make mini pies and mini cakes. This way you can have a little of everything and not have to worry about eating so much. Or at least that will be the intention.

Do you do much baking? What are some of the things you do for the Holiday Season? Will post more with a few recipes as I go.

  1. WOW!!!! I do bake at Christmas but obviously not to that extent. No one left here to eat it and what I have made, I give to the neighbors. It does make a great start to the season. The smells alone will get you there. Hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful.

  2. This morning I did the lefse, and I think this year I’ll do some cookies and take plates around the neighborhood. It’s fun to bake and taste them, but I don’t need all those cookies!!
