About 2 yrs ago I picked up some fabric I fell in love with. I just haven’t found a quilt pattern to show off this fabric. The colors and designs. Any suggestions?

I have been trying to decide on something special to show off the colors and design. Will have to keep looking unless someone has some ideas. If not a quilt then what would you use?
Tonight I have 7 more bowl cozies to make and LOTS of Peanut Brittle. But that is ok I should have it done in 2 full days of candy making. May have to throw in a few chocolate candies also.
What have you been working on lately?
Since these fabrics appear to have such large repeats, what do you think of the idea of using those fabrics as the center 8″ squares of a 16″ block size Sawtooth Star quilt? You could use solids of colors in the fabrics as the star points, and a light netural as the background fabric so that the fabrics shine. Just a thought.

I was thinking that Kaffe Fassett patterns would be a great way to showcase these fabrics too. He uses simple designs and lets the fabric shine.

Check out some of Amy Smarts quilt tutorials on her blog https://www.diaryofaquilter.com. She has some freebies that use larger blocks and triangles that might showcase the fabric.
