Flagstaff, AZ

Today brings a chilly and cloudy day.  We will be spending the day in Flagstaff and Sedona.  We are planning on cramming 2 days into one as tomorrow will be rainy and you can’t be a tourist very well in the rain.  We can do all we wanted to do from the car tomorrow and life is good.  These are  a few photos from the Petrified Forest National ParkIMG_6647IMG_6670IMG_6669IMG_6667IMG_6650Amazing isn’t it.  Hard as stones.

Next was the painted DessertIMG_6681IMG_6687IMG_6689IMG_6691IMG_6702NOW just a sample of fabric that jumped into the car along the way.IMG_6541IMG_6542

We are a multi generation team. We create different things and a lot of times we have fun creating with 3 generations of people. That is how we came up with our name because as you will see we are "One Creative Family". Please feel free to join us :)

  1. Usually, in the sunshine, the painted desert is more colorful. It also depends on where you are. You saw some really pretty petrified wood, though, and if you were in Sedona, then you saw the beautiful Oak Creek Canyon and red rock, and probably the Church of the Red Rock … and hit the very nice quilt shop there, too. =)
