I decided the best way to handle the things I don’t have control over is to pray and sew. That is what I have been doing quite a bit lately and with this getting a lot accomplished.
Finish Dragonfly quilt done
Random access quilt 1/2 done
tea towels 1/4 done
Sewing room cleaned done
Finish Illusion quilt done
Butter horns made with Granddaughter done
Had to vacuum the chair when finished.
Finished baby quilt for new Great niece who arrived Nov. 3rd. And a bed pillow for someone who is stuck in the hospital for a while.
Now I will spend a day with youngest granddaughter and then pack for a trip to Texas for Thanksgiving.
Today I think we will have a little fire in the fire pit and watch the flames dance around. No smores. She doesn’t like chocolate. CRAZY right?!!!!!!!! Doesn’t take after me. Enjoy your Tuesday.

This recipe is one hubby’s great aunt gave us and we have NEVER seen since. 2 cups butter, 1 16oz cottage cheese, 2 cups flour. Mix butter and cottage cheese till mixed well add flour until forms a ball. (may need to add a little more flour. Chill then divide dough into 4ths. Roll dough into a circle and cut like pizza, (I like the widest part about 2 inches wide. roll up like a crescent roll, bake at 375 till brown. I make a powdered sugar glaze for these, or jelly, jams, fruit dip, or honey to put on these and eat. I was surprised at how habit forming they are.

Love that little “flour “ girl! Staying busy with prayer definitely helps one handle difficult times.
