Aug 2nd

Today I am working on a peek a boo quilt for a little 2 yr old.  She is undergoing chemo and radiation for muscle cancer in her face.  So my plan is to make it as fun and interactive as I can.  I am embroidering animals in squares that will have little doors to open and she will find them.  There will be soft snuggly fabric in some and places where family and friends can draw her a picture or write to her.  I am going to try and use chalkboard paint on a bigger square in the center where Daddy can draw her funny pictures.  Not sure how this will work, but today is a day of machine embroidery.

I am hoping that everyone is having a great day enjoying what you are doing.  Remember find something to laugh about daily.  Also don’t sweat the small stuff, because  in the grand scheme of life it is all small stuff.
